Let’s meet in Ljubljana / Puppet Museums & Friends

From 29 February to 2 March 2016 the museum department of the Ljubljana Puppet Theatre hosted representatives from European puppet museums and other experts involved in puppetry heritage. At the Museum of Puppetry we noticed that there were not many events which would bring together puppetry museums, therefore we decided to organise the Let’s meet in Ljubljana / Puppet Museums & Friends meeting.

The meeting which spanned the course of several days, was attended by experts from Italy, Spain, Estonia, Holland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Portugal, and Croatia.

One of them was Nina Malíková, representative of Loutkář magazine and the Czech UNIMA centre, Prague Theatre Institute advisor, and daughter of Jan Malík, author of the 1936 Speckles the Ball puppet performance. Read more (only available in Slovenian) > MMC RTV Kultura
