Edi Majaron: In Puppets We Believe

May, 15, 2018

There are many puppet stories still waiting to be discovered in dusty attics and abandoned chests. We are on a quest to find them and save them from sinking into oblivion! We are bringing them to life in the form of an online diary on Medium where you can find us the under @lutkovnimuzej. This time, Puppet Diaries feature an interview with Edi Majaron.

Time flies relentlessly. It has been over six months since one of the biggest Slovenian puppet connoisseurs, puppeteer, director of more than 80 performances in Slovenia and abroad, recipient of the Prešeren Fund Award for accomplishments in the field of puppetry art, former artistic director and co-founder of the Jože Pengov Puppet Theatre, dramaturge, professor, and cellist (not necessarily in this order), Edi Majaron released the book we have long waited for: In Puppets We Believe.

Interview (available only in Slovenian) > Further reads: With Nothing Behind Me I Head for the Flood!.
